Pakistan’s rising stars Saim Ayub and Usman Khan reached major batting milestones in the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11), while Azam Khan powered Karachi Kings to a thrilling chase with a match-winning knock in a high-scoring encounter.

Saim Ayub completed 1,000 runs in the Pakistan Super League during Hyderabad Kingsmen’s match against Multan Sultans, underlining his consistency in PSL 2025.

The left-handed opener has now featured in 43 PSL matches, scoring 1,026 runs at a strike rate of 145.32, including eight half-centuries and 51 sixes.

Teammate Usman Khan also achieved the milestone in the same fixture, reaching 1,008 runs in just 28 matches. The right-hander boasts an impressive strike rate of 155.3, with four fifties and three centuries, alongside 39 sixes in the league.

Azam Khan powers show

In a separate PSL 11 fixture, Azam Khan delivered a player-of-the-match performance to guide Karachi Kings to a remarkable chase of 198 against Rawalpindiz.

Coming in at 70/2, Azam anchored the innings and remained at the crease until the brink of victory, scoring a blistering 74 off just 34 balls. His innings, featuring six fours and six sixes, came at a striking rate of 217.64.

The powerful knock ensured Karachi Kings stayed on course in the Pakistan Super League 2025 standings, showcasing Azam Khan’s ability as a finisher in high-pressure situations.
