Karachi players continue to impress in the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League season 11 as Abrar Ahmed and Mir Hamza lead match-winning performances for their sides.

Karachi-born spinner Abrar Ahmed delivered a standout performance in the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11), helping Quetta Gladiators secure a convincing win over Hyderabad Kingsmen.

Abrar returned figures of 3-23, playing a decisive role as the Kingsmen were restricted to 134-8 while chasing a target of 175. His control in the middle overs halted any momentum Hyderabad had built, underlining his growing reputation as one of Pakistan’s most effective T20 spinners.

The result marked an important victory for Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2025, with Abrar’s spell widely seen as the turning point in the contest.

Mir Hamza stun Lahore

In another PSL 11 fixture, Karachi Kings stunned defending champions Lahore Qalandars in a low-scoring encounter, thanks largely to the efforts of left-arm pacer Mir Hamza.

Hamza claimed 2-14 in a disciplined spell, leading a collective bowling effort that restricted Lahore Qalandars to 128-9 in their 20 overs. His accuracy and movement proved difficult to handle on a challenging surface, setting the tone for Karachi’s upset victory.

The win was a significant boost for Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League 2025 standings, highlighting the impact of local Karachi players in crucial moments.

As the tournament progresses, such contributions could play a key role in shaping the fortunes of their respective teams.
