Cricket season begins in Karachi as the PCB Regional Inter-District Senior Tournament 2024–25 begins Saturday, June 27, and will run until July 29. The tournament will bring together top players from across Karachi’s seven cricket zones, providing a key platform for emerging cricketers to showcase their skills.

Organized under the Pakistan Cricket Board’s domestic structure, the tournament will feature three-day matches held at five major grounds across the city, including KCCA Stadium, UBL Sports Complex, NBP Sports Complex, and Baqai Cricket Ground.

Why This Tournament Matters

Karachi has always been known as the hub of cricket in Pakistan, producing legendary players like Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Shahid Afridi, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Asad Shafiq,Saud Shakeel, Mir Hamza and more. This tournament is a crucial part of Pakistan’s domestic cricket pipeline, helping identify the next generation of stars.

Top performers from each zone will be considered for future domestic events such as the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and domestic tournaments.
