Introduction

RCA Karachi

The Regional Cricket Association Karachi (RCAK) is the sole governing body for cricket in Karachi, established under the Sports (Development and Control) Ordinance 1962 as a corporate entity with perpetual succession. RCAK holds the exclusive authority for the regulation, administration, management, and promotion of cricket in the region.

Operating independently under its own Constitution, RCAK generates its own revenue, which is reinvested into cricket development. It does not receive any grants, funds, or financial support from the Federal or Provincial Governments, the Consolidated Funds, or the Public Exchequer.

Our Mission

The mission of RCAK is to inspire and unite the cricketing community by channeling the passion of the youth into professional excellence. We strive to create a structured and inclusive cricketing ecosystem that allows talent to flourish at all levels. Through our efforts, we aim to build strong, competitive teams, provide equal playing opportunities, and instill a sense of pride and commitment toward the game.

Additionally, RCAK is committed to developing and supporting players, officials, and coaches, ensuring that Karachi remains at the forefront of Pakistan’s cricketing success. By nurturing a culture of discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, we aim to make cricket more than just a sport—it’s a lifelong journey of growth and achievement.

Our Vision

RCAK envisions Karachi as a global hub for cricketing excellence, producing world-class players and setting new benchmarks in professionalism and performance. Over the next five years, our vision is centered around six key priority areas:

Mr. Nadeem Omar

We aim to create opportunities where raw talent can be transformed into world-class performers through structured training, mentorship, and exposure.

Ms. Javeria Khan

Cheif Executive Officer

It is both an honour and a deeply personal journey for me to lead the Regional Cricket Association Karachi (RCAK) as its Chief Executive Officer. As a former national cricketer and ex-captain of the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team, I understand the power of cricket not just as a sport but as a force that unites, empowers, and transforms lives.

Having worn the green jersey with pride, I now take on this leadership role with the same commitment and passion to build a stronger, more inclusive, and future-ready cricketing ecosystem in Karachi. RCAK stands at a crucial point in its journey, where tradition meets transformation. With a renewed focus on infrastructure, grassroots development, women’s cricket, and high-performance pathways, we are laying the groundwork for a new era of excellence.

Our mission is clear: to nurture talent, uphold integrity, and provide equal opportunities for every aspiring cricketer regardless of background or gender. Through strategic partnerships, progressive thinking, and a player-first approach, we aim to position Karachi as a global hub for cricketing excellence.

I welcome you to be a part of this exciting journey as we work together to shape the future of cricket in Karachi and beyond.
