Karachi: After a long wait of nearly three months, the ABS Developers National T20 Cup 2025-26 Final is finally set to take place on Sunday, June 7, with Karachi Region Whites taking on Abbottabad Region in the tournament’s highly anticipated title clash at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
The match is set to begin at 8:00 PM PKT, and the Chairman PCB will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding further significance to the showpiece event of Pakistan’s premier domestic T20 competition. The match will be televised live on PTV Sports, A Sports and Geo Super. Live stream will be available on the Tapmad app.
The final was initially set to be played in March but was postponed due to continuous rain and wet outfield. The rescheduling has now paved the way for a fitting conclusion to what has been an exciting and competitive tournament.
Karachi Whites have enjoyed a remarkable campaign throughout the competition, finishing at the top of their group to secure a place in the knockout stage. The team continued its impressive run in the semi-final, registering a comfortable victory over Sialkot Region to book a well-deserved place in the final.

Abbottabad Region, meanwhile, topped its group during the league stage. Their semi-final encounter against Lahore Whites was abandoned due to rain and a wet outfield. Having finished ahead of their opponents in the group standings, Abbottabad progressed to the final on the basis of a superior net run rate.
Both teams possess match-winners capable of turning the contest in their favor. For Karachi Whites, much will depend on the controlled aggression of Saud Shakeel and Abdullah Fazal with the bat as they have led from the front throughout the tournament, while the bowling responsibilities are expected to be carried by experienced left-arm spinner Mohammad Asghar, pacer Muhammad Umer, and Mir Hamza, a trio that has consistently troubled opposition batters with their control and wicket-taking ability.
Abbottabad Region will look towards the explosive batting of their captain Fakhar Zaman, whose aggressive approach at the top of the order can change the match within a few overs.
