Saeed Anwar is a former Pakistani cricketer and captain of the national Test and ODI teams. An opening batsman who played international cricket between 1989 and 2003, he is considered one of the greatest openers Pakistan has ever produced and one of the finest batsmen of his generation.
Known for his graceful stroke play and ability to dominate world-class bowlers, Anwar combined elegance with power, making him a fan favorite and a consistent match-winner throughout his career.

Played 55 Test matches, scoring 4,052 runs with an average of 45.52, including 11 centuries.

Held the world record for the highest individual ODI score (194 vs India at Chennai, 1997) for more than a decade.
